At Overbury we have embraced a minimalist approach to the amenities that we offer, prefering to let our setting and well appointed facilites create the appeal. Though we don't have a swimming pool, restaurant, gym, or bar and the cottages are not equipped with home entertainment systems, we are certain that you will find everything you need if you're looking for a peaceful, relaxing vacation. First we offer our beautiful, natural setting. Our shealtered beaches, ideal for swimming and watersports in the summer, the quiet forest that surrounds our property, and the well maintained lawns, gardens, and grape fields.

We provide BBQ's, free of charge, and offer free moorage for a limited number of guests with boats of their own. We also rent row-boats and kayaks for those who are looking for some exersize or wish to explore the coastline.

Meeting Rooms

The Great Hall, the original drawing-room of our century-old manor house, is an ideal meeting room for small groups of up to twelve participants. It is a room withexceptional atmosphere owed to its careful restoration, lofty 8 meter open-beam ceiling, spacious balconies, and views of the ocean from the beautiful leaded-glass windows. Relax by a crackling fire and enjoy delicious, wholesome snacks as you cover the items on your agenda.

If your group consists of up to 120 guests, the recently constructed Pavilion will exceed expectations. With ample space and a distinctly west-coast atmosphere, this facility is an ideal setting for an unforgettable retreat. It features a timber frame construction, complete with 3 banks of French doors, a natural slate floor, and sweeping ocean views. The large open floor space with dimensions of 12 meters by 20 meters is suitable for a variety of activities including yoga instruction as well as workshops for artists, musicians or quilters as well as wedding receptions and banquets.
